ARG Transolutions (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Who we are

2. What data we collect

Contact forms (“Set the date” and “Get a quote”): your name, e-mail address, the date of your move, where you are moving from and to, the subject and the content of your message, plus the date and time of sending and your IP address.
Phone, e-mail and WhatsApp: the details you give us when you contact us directly.
Technical data: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, requested page, browser type, date and time) for security and troubleshooting.

We do not use analytics cookies, advertising trackers or social media plug-ins on this website.

3. Why we use your data and on what legal basis

To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation – steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
To carry out a move you have booked and to handle any claim – performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
To protect the website and the contact form from spam and abuse – our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).
To keep accounting records required by law (Article 6(1)(c)).

We do not use your data for automated decision-making and we do not send marketing e-mails unless you have asked for them.

4. How long we keep your data

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: up to 12 months after our last contact.
Bookings, quotations, invoices and claims: 6 years after the end of the financial year in which the move took place (statutory accounting and limitation periods).
Server logs: up to 30 days. Anti-spam counters of the contact form: 1 hour.

5. Who we share your data with

Hosting: the website and the contact form run on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany, administered for us by ARGO. Enquiries are delivered to our e-mail inbox.
Cloudflare, Inc.: provides the anti-spam check (Turnstile) in the contact form and the network protection of the website. Cloudflare may process your IP address and technical browser data for this purpose.
Subcontractors (crews, storage, European partners) only when needed to carry out your move, and authorities when the law requires it.

We never sell personal data. Where a provider processes data outside the UK, this is done under the UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.

6. Cookies

This website does not set analytics or marketing cookies. The Cloudflare anti-spam check may store a strictly necessary technical cookie that is needed to confirm you are not a robot. Your browser lets you delete or block cookies at any time.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, e-mail info@argtransolutions.co.uk. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), ico.org.uk, helpline 0303 123 1113.

8. Security

The website is served over HTTPS, the contact form is protected against spam and misuse, and access to enquiries is limited to the people who deal with them.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the latest version is shown at the top of the page.
